Bader Buallay has over 15 years of experience; he currently heads the asset allocation team at Osool Asset Management wherein his team is tasked with developing capital market expectations (CME’s) via the utilization of macro-economic models. The team is also tasked with constructing bespoke portfolios based on client objectives, conditions and constraints. Prior to joining Osool, Bader managed the investment portfolios of Sage Capital Management Group and Aspire Katara Investments which were composed of assets across the risk spectrum. Bader started his career in QInvest’s Treasury Department where he managed money market and FX hedging transactions as a dealer.

He currently serves as the Vice-Chairman of Bahrain Car Parks Company and as a Board Director of Khereiji Showroom Company. Bader is also a part-time lecturer at the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance. He holds a bachelor’s degree (Hons) in Computing and Accounting and Finance from University of Kent, UK and a masters in business administration from Imperial College London, where he was placed on the Dean’s List and also received the award for best overall performance within the program. He is a CFA Charterholder and a CAIA Charterholder.
