Eugene You is founder, chairman and CEO of Lumi United Technology Co., Ltd (“Lumi”), a smart home provider that offers full range of IoT devices, platform solution, and services globally. Prior to Lumi, Eugene has worked at Rio Tinto, Trulite, and Enocean, and holds decades of experience in industrial control, sensor design, fuel-cell system control, energy harvesting, and self-powered wireless automation systems.

Eugene founded Lumi in 2009, which was largely inspired by the need to help reduce global energy consumption, especially from residential and commercial buildings. Now, under the brand name “Aqara”, the Company provides fully customizable and holistic IoT solutions to millions of customers and businesses worldwide.
