Jay Eum is a venture capitalist with over 20 years of extensive investment experience across institutional and corporate investment firms. Jay co-founded TransLink Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm based in Palo Alto with over $600M under management backed by several leading Asian technology companies. Jay was also the founding Managing Director of Samsung Ventures where he established and led their US venture capital operations.

Jay started his venture capital career at Vertex Management, the venture capital arm of Singapore-based Temasek Holdings. He holds an MBA from Stanford University, as well as a BS in Chemistry and MS in Biochemistry from Seoul National University.

Jay has many years of experience in frontier technology generating an impressive track record of 7.5x MOIC, 43% IRR.
