CREATE AND CONTRIBUTE TO THE SUSTAINABLE ENERGY GOALS OF THE FUTURE

The Government of Ras Al Khaimah has long recognised sustainable energy as a cornerstone of economic competitiveness, resilience, and long-term growth.

This commitment is anchored in the Ras Al Khaimah Integrated Sustainability (RIS) Strategy 2050, a comprehensive framework that drives the energy transition while advancing broader sustainability priorities, including emissions reduction, climate adaptation, air quality, water and soil management, and biodiversity protection.

Building on the momentum of previous editions, Ras Al Khaimah Municipality will host the RAK Energy Summit 2026 under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah. Organised in partnership with Etihad Water and Electricity (EtihadWE), the Summit has established itself as a key regional platform for advancing dialogue, collaboration, and action across the sustainable energy ecosystem.

Set to take place from 25 to 27 November 2026 at the RAK Expo Centre, Ras Al Khaimah, the Summit will be held under the theme “Create and Contribute to the Sustainable Energy Goals of the Future.” Its expanded format reflects the growing scale, impact, and maturity of the energy transition, showcasing regional innovation, investment momentum, and cross-sector growth.

The programme will address critical priorities shaping national and regional decarbonisation pathways, including energy efficiency, renewables, future grids, AI and digitalisation, carbon markets, sustainable mobility, and the decarbonisation of hard-to-abate industries.

International thought leaders, policymakers, industry pioneers, and innovators from the public and private sectors will convene through curated sessions, panel discussions, networking forums, and live demonstrations to advance sustainable energy and climate action agendas across the UAE and the wider GCC.
