Mohamed is the AI advisor for H.H. Sheikh Mohammad Al Sabah at the Kuwait AI and IoT Association. He has been working on AI systems since the year 2000 in Big Tech Silicon Valley, e.g. Microsoft & Google, but lately in the GCC as well. His current area of research is AI Safety and the Alignment Problem. Mohamed’s experience in AI is holistic, from its theoretical underpinnings to its engineering complications to its regulatory and ecological aspects. He is quite excited to share his perspectives on AI safety and the Alignment Problem with such a great panel and supreme audience.
